Can I make a same-day reservation?

Reservations can be made by phone. We may already be fully booked on the day of your visit, so please be sure to call us in advance to confirm availability on the day of your visit.

Will I not be able to stay if the hotel is fully booked online?

We may be able to accommodate you due to same-day cancellations, so please contact us by phone.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 10:00.

Can I do early check-in and late check-out?

Early check-in is not available.
Late check-out is available up to 12:00 for a fee of 3,000 yen (excluding tax) per hour.

Are there smoking rooms/smoking spaces?

All rooms in our hotel are non-smoking.
We have a smoking area available in the building, so please feel free to use it.

Can I leave my luggage before and after check-in?

yes.
You can leave your luggage at the front desk.

I would like to send my luggage in advance, but could you keep it for me?

We will keep it at the front desk.
When sending luggage, please write the date of stay and the representative of the guest on the luggage slip and contact us in advance. Please note that we cannot accept cash on delivery or cash on delivery packages. Please also note that we cannot store perishables or valuables.

Please note that Yakushima is a remote island, so flights may be canceled due to weather or other factors, and your luggage may be delayed. Please allow plenty of time to send by the date.

Is there a parking lot?

yes.
Free parking spaces are available.

Do you provide transportation to the hotel?

yes.
We provide free transportation from Yakushima Airport to the hotel. Reservations are required at least one day in advance, so if you plan to use the bus, please make a reservation in advance. (Capacity: 9 people)

Is electronic money/credit available?

yes. You can use it.

You can also use VISA, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club, MasterCard, UC, SAISON, UnionPay credit cards, QR payments such as paypay, aupay, LINEpay, transportation IC cards, and electronic money such as QUICPay.

Is there Wi-Fi at the hotel?

yes. All rooms can be used free of charge.

Optical broadband service lines have been opened in Yakushima from May 2021. In line with this, we have also carried out line construction at the main building, and are now able to provide Wi-Fi.

Can I arrange lunch boxes for trekking?

yes. We can make arrangements. Advance reservations are not required.
We will accept your request at the front desk during check-in.

Can I rent climbing equipment?

yes. We are doing so. Advance reservations are not required, so please check the size when you arrive. However, as quantities are limited, the item you request may not be available during busy seasons (GW, Obon, and consecutive holidays). Thank you for your understanding.

Can I arrange a rental car?

yes. There are two rental cars owned by the hotel. (Electric vehicles only)
As there are fewer units, please make a reservation in advance.

Do you have bicycle rentals?

no. We do not have bicycle rental facilities at our hotel, but we will introduce you to facilities nearby where you can rent bicycles.

Is there a coin laundry?

yes. We have three washing machines and three dryers installed. Laundry is available for 300 yen once and drying is 100 yen for 10 minutes. We provide free detergent powder.

Can I arrange a trekking guide?

yes. Yes, we do.

Can I arrange a massage?

yes. Yes, we do. We will be dispatched from massage parlors on the island.
We may be closed on some days depending on your convenience, so please check with the front desk when you check in.

Can I take a day trip bath?

no. This facility cannot be used only for day-trip bathing.

I made a reservation without dinner, but can I add dinner?

yes. Reservations can be made by phone or email.
If you would like to have dinner, please contact us at least 3 days in advance to make a reservation. We will be accepting orders on the day, but the menu items available will be limited, so please contact us in advance. (Depending on the situation, we may not be able to accept your order on the day or the day before, so please make a reservation early.)

Can I have a vegan/vegetarian menu, please?

yes. Reservations can be made by phone or email.
If you would like a vegan or vegetarian dish, please contact us at least 5 days in advance to make a reservation.

Please tell me about the food at the hotel.

Breakfast will be served buffet style, and dinner will be served as a kaiseki menu.

Do you have a children's menu?

yes. We have a children's menu available.
Please make a reservation by the day before.

Can you accommodate allergies?

yes. We accept meals for people with allergies.
We are unable to respond to requests submitted on the same day, so please contact us in advance.

Can you prepare a celebration cake?

yes. We accept reservations for cakes.
Please contact us at least two days in advance.

We offer 20cm mille-feuille cakes. This special cake is made with custard cream made using Yakushima's free-farmed eggs and Tanegashima's fresh milk, plus rich cream made with whipped cream, and topped with seasonal fruits.
