Can I make a reservation on the day?

Reservations can be made by phone. Please note that we may be fully booked on the day of your visit, so please be sure to call us in advance to check availability on the day before visiting.

If the hotel is fully booked online, will I not be able to stay?

We may be able to accommodate cancellations on the day, so please contact us by phone.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

Can I check in early or check out late?

Early check-in is not available.
Late check-out is available up to 12:00 for 3,000 yen (excluding tax) per hour.

Are there smoking rooms or spaces?

All rooms in our hotel are non-smoking.
We have a smoking area available within the building, so please feel free to use it.

Can I leave my luggage before or after check-in?

Yes,
we can store your luggage at the front desk.

I would like to send my luggage in advance. Can you store it for me?

We will store your luggage at the front desk.
When sending luggage, please contact us in advance, specifying the date of your stay and the name of the representative guest on the luggage slip. Please note that we cannot accept cash on delivery or COD luggage. Please also note that we cannot store perishable foods or valuables.

Furthermore, as Yakushima is a remote island, flights may be canceled due to weather or other factors, and luggage may be delayed. Please send your luggage well in advance.

Is there parking available?

Yes,
we have free parking spaces available.

Do you provide hotel pickup?

Yes.
We provide a free shuttle service from Yakushima Airport to the hotel. Reservations must be made by 6:00 PM the day before, so please make your reservation in advance if you wish to use the bus. (Maximum of 9 passengers)
*This shuttle service is only available to passengers arriving by flight. Please note that you cannot get off the bus midway.

Can I use electronic money or credit cards?

Yes, you can.

We accept VISA, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club, MasterCard, UC, SAISON, and UnionPay credit cards, QR payments such as PayPay, Aupay, and LINE Pay, transportation IC cards, and electronic money such as QUICPay.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?

Yes. It is available free of charge in all rooms.

Fiber optic broadband service lines were opened on Yakushima in May 2021. In response to this, we have also carried out line construction in the main building, making it possible to provide Wi-Fi.

Can I arrange lunch boxes for the trek?

Yes, we can arrange this for you. No prior reservation is required.
Please contact the front desk when you check in.

Can I rent mountaineering equipment?

Yes, we do. Reservations are not required, so you can have the item sized for you when you visit. However, as numbers are limited, we may not have the item you want during busy periods (Golden Week, Obon, consecutive holidays). Thank you for your understanding

Can you arrange a rental car?

Yes, we have two rental cars owned by the hotel (electric vehicles only).
Please make a reservation in advance.

Are there rental bicycles?

No. We do not have bicycle rentals available at our hotel, but we can introduce you to nearby facilities where you can rent bicycles

Is there a coin laundry?

Yes. We have three washing machines and three dryers. Washing costs 300 yen per load, and drying costs 100 yen for 10 minutes. We provide free powder detergent

Can I arrange a trekking guide?

Yes, we do.

Can I arrange a massage?

Yes, we can. Massage therapists will be dispatched from massage parlors on the island.
There may be days when they are closed depending on your schedule, so please check with the front desk when you check in.

Can I use the baths on a day trip?

No. Our facility does not allow day-trip bathing only

I made a reservation without dinner, but can I add dinner?

Yes. We accept reservations by phone or email.
If you would like to have dinner, please contact us at least three days in advance. We also accept reservations on the day, but the menu we can provide is limited, so please contact us in advance. (Depending on the situation, we may not be able to accommodate reservations on the day or the day before, so please make your reservation early.)

Can I request a vegan/vegetarian menu?

Yes, we accept reservations by phone or email.
If you would like vegan or vegetarian meals, please contact us at least 5 days in advance to make your reservation.

Please tell me about the food options at the hotel

Breakfast is served buffet style, and dinner is a kaiseki menu

Do you have a children's menu?

Yes, we have a children's menu.
Please make your reservation at least one day in advance.

Can you accommodate allergies?

Yes, we do have meals for allergies.
However, we cannot accommodate requests for allergies on the day, so please contact us in advance.

Can I prepare a celebration cake?

Yes, we accept cake reservations.
Please contact us at least three days in advance.

We offer a 20cm mille-feuille cake. This special cake is made with custard cream made from free-range eggs from Yakushima and fresh milk from Tanegashima, topped with a generous amount of rich whipped cream and seasonal fruits.

Are there any restaurants nearby?

Yes, there are several within a 10-minute walk.
We have a map of the area at the front desk, so please feel free to ask us when you check in.
There is also a supermarket near the hotel.
