The front desk staff act as concierges not only for the hotel but also for Yakushima
The front desk staff are the representatives of the hotel. They handle everything from check-in procedures for guests to guiding them to their rooms, guiding them around the hotel, confirming their schedules during their stay, responding to any requests they may have at the hotel, and answering any questions about sightseeing in Yakushima, right up until check-out, and responding courteously and promptly to ensure a comfortable and safe stay at the hotel and on Yakushima. With the number of guests from far away overseas increasing, they are also required to have the skills to advise guests on their schedules on Yakushima, which can be affected by the weather. They work hard every day with the desire to "enjoy the best Yakushima possible through the hotel" in mind

Restaurant operations
Our restaurant staff are hospitality professionals who
will deliver the cuisine of Yakushima to you.
Restaurant staff will assist with meals during your stay. Guests will have dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Not only will they bring a buffet breakfast and a Japanese kaiseki dinner, a Japanese-Western fusion course, to your seat, but they also offer service unique to Yakushima, such as seasonal explanations of the dishes and suggestions and offers for drinks that go well with the food. Working in cooperation with the cooking staff, they work hard every day with the idea in mind of "creating a space where mealtimes on Yakushima make the island feel even more wonderful."
